The temps are really climbing but we want to get in at least one more hike before the frying pan feeling sets in. Browns Peak is a good choice because the trailhead sits at 5,700 feet and you gain almost 2,000 feet in the ascent. Much cooler.
This is also the season when Saguaro Cactus bloom. They get these pretty heads of white flowers that attract bees, birds and bats. Naturally we had to include some of them.
