We decided to head out for a hike in the Superstition Mountains since it's fairly close and we haven't been there in some time. Why it is named Massacre Falls I don't know, but we get colorful in Arizona. For instance, Bloody Basin has nothing to do with mayhem, it's named for the bright red dirt. All I know is it's a great little hike with beautiful scenery.
I always love the formations in the Superstitions
There are shallow caves up on these ridges

Ruby's closeup. Don & Arlene rescued her and she is such a happy dog now

Lunch!
The falls. Well, if there were water running there would be falls, but now it's just a bla
Just pretend there's water coming down
