Tonto Natural Bridge

06/18/2004

George and I had visited Tonto Natural Bridge a couple of years ago, but as with so many places it was under repair so we planned a return trip to fully enjoy the area.

Our intrepid traveling companions were with us again, so it was double the fun.

Just a little background on the bridge.

It is believed to be the largest travertine bridge in the world.

Regardless of it's place in the records book it is a beautiful area. We really enjoyed splashing down the stream and cooling off.
